WELCOME TO NIECHORZE

Niechorze is a unique village in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, located in Gryfice County, Rewal Municipality. Together with Pobierowo, Pogorzelica, Trzęsacz, Pustkow and Rewal, it is part of one of the most beautiful regions of the Rewal Coast. The village is situated in a picturesque location, between the shores of the Baltic Sea in the north and the natural lake Liwia Luza in the south.

Niechorze is a popular holiday resort, which in the summer season attracts more than 650,000 tourists eager for good weather, unique beaches and beautiful landscapes.

It is impossible to get bored in the town - it offers numerous attractions for both children and adults, seniors, families, couples or organized groups. Everyone will find something for themselves here, enjoying a holiday in the heart of one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Poland.

The seaside along Niechorze is a unique, wide sandy beach, with a 100-meter guarded bathing area, which provides safety and comfort for relaxation. It is also worth noting the impressive cliff where the most distinctive lighthouse in Poland is located - a historic 45-meter lighthouse, built in 1866. It is now open to the public and is the second-highest lighthouse in the Baltic Sea. From the observation deck, located dozens of meters above the ground, there is a breathtaking panorama of the Rewal Coast, which remains in the memory of visitors for a long time.

In his spare time, in addition to climbing 210 stairs lighthouse sea, you can also visit the local fishing harbor. The marina includes two piers of 53 meters and 62 meters in length. The local fishermen have distinctive boats with a sign on the side "NO" . It does not take a guess , that the local gastronomic base is based on freshly caught fish . It is located on Marchlewskiego Street you can find permanent exhibitions of maritime collections among them fishing gear, boats, fish specimens , photographs and documents. Here you will learn about the nature of the Baltic Sea, you will take a walk in the amber forest , you will learn about navigational instruments. The museum is run by a number of non-governmental organizations , bringing together people who are culturally active, passionate about history, thanks to which this year has already been held The 18th edition of the Baltic Herring Festival. Numerous concerts , tales of the sea wolves , tastings and the Eighteenth already cooking competition drawing lovers from Poland and beyond for the best herring and fish dishes.

"Para-bang! Wheels - in motion!" - everyone remembers this poem by Julian Tuwim from the classic "Locomotive". The Seaside Narrow Gauge Railway was launched on July 1, 1896 and quickly became one of the symbols of the region. Initially it covered 300 kilometers of track and as many as 98 stops. At the time of its construction, the region belonged to Prussia, and after World War II the railroad became part of Poland.

Today 175 kilometers of track have been preserved, of which 39.5 kilometers are still in operation. Since 2002, the railroad has been included in the register of historical monuments of the West Pomeranian province, which emphasizes its historical value. Every year it carries several hundred thousand passengers, offering an unforgettable journey in a picturesque seaside landscape. It is the only such place on the Polish seaside where the narrow-gauge tradition is alive.

It is also worth mentioning that since 2014, in addition to the summer period, the Seaside Narrow Gauge Railway has been embarking on winter routes, offering passengers a unique opportunity to explore the region in the colder months as well.

Adults and Children will be delighted to visit  Butterfly House, where they will learn about countless exotic species of colorful insects.

For lovers of active leisure, await 3 scenic hiking trails, in the area, which can be overcome on foot or by bike. For lovers of contact with nature, a real treat will be the Reserve Livia Luz, which covers the shoreline of the lake and currently protects the lake's ecosystem, habitats of rare plant species, and birds. A professional sports complex, which has soccer, volleyball and basketball fields, among others, tennis courts and gaining more and more popularity every year  skatepark.
